SysTray is a 32-bit ActiveX control for Visual Basic(and other languages) that allows you to safely place an icon inthe system tray (bottom-right corner of the screen). You canchange tooltips and icons on the fly and respond to mousemovements and click and double-click events from all three mousebuttons. You can even use built-in functionality to minimize a windowto and from the system tray! And now, you can animateyour system tray icon with one line of code! Threeexamples are included. At times, you want to write an application that runs in thebackground or unattended but still want a manner in which the user can access yourprogram. Placing an icon in the system tray is perfect forthis type of circumstance. Using this control protects youfrom the inherent instabilities (ie. crashes) of trying to implement similarfunctionality in your own code. Click here for theSysTray Control Home Page
