Born on September 28, 1987, in Houston, Texas, Hilary Erhard Duff began her career in 1997 with small roles in firstly True Women then Playing by Heart, Duff s first major role was in Casper Meets Wendy. Duff then had a few small parts before she was cast in the lead role of the TV series Lizzie McGuire,which lasted from 2001- 2004 Duff would later star in the movie The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Whilst working on Lizzie McGuire Duff took the lead role in the movies Cadet Kelly and Agent Cody Banks, Cheaper by the Dozen and A Cinderella Story. After Lizzie McGuire ended Duff appeared in the films Raise Your Voice, The Perfect Man, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and Material Girls. In 2002 Duff released her first studio album Santa Claus Lane, she followed this in 2003 with Metamorphosis, 2004 Hilary Duff, 2005 Most Wanted, 2006 4Ever and in 2007 with Dignity.
